Clinical Breast Examination
Sometimes what you need most is time, clarity, and expert guidance.
A Clinical Breast Examination gives you space to talk through concerns, understand your personal risk factors, and make sense of any symptoms or previous results.
What to expect
- A detailed discussion about your medical history and concerns
- Clinical Breast Examination
This can be a standalone appointment, or part of a wider assessment. It’s particularly valuable if you’re unsure whether a symptom needs investigation, or if you simply want to know what’s normal for you.

Ultrasound Scanning
An ultrasound assessment is often the most direct way to investigate a specific concern.
Using high-frequency sound waves, we can examine breast tissue in real time. This allows us to assess lumps, areas of discomfort, or changes you may have noticed, with immediate clinical interpretation.
What to expect:
- A consultation to understand your concerns and history
- A targeted ultrasound scan carried out by an experienced clinician
- Real-time explanation of what we’re seeing
- Clear guidance on next steps, if needed
Ultrasound is safe, non-invasive, and particularly effective for assessing soft tissue. In many cases, it provides reassurance immediately. Where further investigation is needed, we guide you on the most appropriate pathway, including referral into the NHS if required.

Breast Density Assessment
Breast density is an important part of your overall breast health, but it’s often not routinely measured or discussed.
Through our partnership with Micrima, we offer the Mi-Scan which gives a detailed breakdown of your breast density, and Mi-Score which gives you a risk score. Both are quick, non-invasive ways to understand your breast density.
Higher breast density can be associated with an increased risk of developing breast cancer and make some cancers harder to detect on traditional mammograms.
What to expect
- A simple, comfortable scan with no compression
- A personalised density score
- Clear explanation of what your result means for you
This is not a diagnostic test. Instead, it’s a way to better understand your individual risk profile.
We frame this around a simple principle: know your normal. By understanding your baseline, you’re better equipped to notice changes and make informed decisions about your health.
Where appropriate, we’ll help you understand what steps you might consider next, whether that’s routine monitoring, additional imaging, or simply reassurance.
